The Mainstream Bible Outreach is an independent outreach to the broad mainstream public. We seek to place and fulfill the offer of a free modern language New Testament in a variety of mainstream media, display-stands in public locations, and through individual outreach, as a means to reach and connect with people.

Our purpose is to connect with people who have not previously pursued reading God's transforming Word for themselves, to encourage those who may have set the Bible aside in the past, as well as others for whom reconnecting with God might come about through finding renewal in His Word. Even though Jesus Christ, as our forefathers knew Him through the Bible, is the cornerstone of America's history, many people have never simply been encouraged or endeavored to read any significant part of the scriptures. Our objective is to make this easier, by giving respondents an entire free modern language New Testament translation, helpful information about the Christian faith and life, and motivating encouragement to pursue daily exploration of the scriptures leading to a relationship with Christ.

We give the New International Version (NIV), which is the most widely read modern translation.
