NIV information
The New International Version® (NIV), is one of many great translations of the original Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic scriptures. The NIV is the most widely read contemporary English translation.

When the books of the Bible were first written, they captured exactly what God wanted to say in the languages and idioms used by the ordinary people of the time. This is the reading experience that the NIV seeks to recreate, as closely as possible, for present day readers.
